Newly renovated and tastefully furnished one-room vacation apartment designed for comfort, featuring a kitchenette and dining area on the first floor with a terrace. It is located in a very quiet area in the Schöntal neighborhood, right next to the forest and 150 meters from the Schöntal swimming pond. Schöntal has no through traffic, and the speed limit is generally 30 km/h. In addition to the double bed, the couch can be used as a sleeper sofa, allowing up to three people to stay overnight.

Ludwigswinkel, a climatic health resort, is the perfect vacation destination for guests seeking relaxation, variety, nature, sports, and tranquility. Here, if you wish, you can get by without a car for your entire vacation; even in winter, there are great excursions to enjoy

An ideal starting point for extended hiking and trekking tours, through the unspoiled German-French Pfälzerwald/Northern Vosges Biosphere Reserve or to the countless castle ruins and bizarre rock formations in the immediate vicinity; relax at one of Ludwigswinkel’s many natural swimming ponds with excellent water quality; great mountain bike tours (direct access to signposted trails right from the house), as well as leisurely road biking without significant inclines through the Sauerbach Valley all the way to Wissembourg —Alsace, a visit to the Biosphere House in the neighboring village with a treetop trail, barefoot park, mini-golf, and truly high-quality dining.

We provide our guests with one women’s and one men’s touring bike free of charge, plus, if needed, a bike trailer for dogs. A 24-inch MTB and a DogScooter are also available

We also offer two e-mountain bikes for a fee.

We’re happy to help and advise you on planning your trips and also offer guided (for a fee) hiking, trekking, cycling, and mountain biking tours tailored specifically to your needs.

Supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, general practitioner, dentist, and gas station in the neighboring town 3 km away—hair salons and a corner store in Ludwigswinkel. A wide variety of high-quality dining options in Ludwigswinkel and the nearby surrounding communities.
