The sound of the waves, the smell of the sea air, your feet in the sand, the coastal paths... The Opal Coast can be experienced outside, in all weathers, and it is always good to be facing the sea. No need to wait for the bright sun to enjoy the coast. A heavy sky gives relief to the cliffs, the wind makes the oyats dance in the dunes, a clearing turns the sea into a mirror and, after a shower, the colors of the landscape seem different. On the Opal Coast, the weather is part of the show.
Each outing has its share of discoveries: a large windswept beach, the cliffs that can be seen in the distance, the dunes that change with the seasons, a small village where you can stop for a stroll or a sunset that you hadn't planned to watch.

From Calais to Boulogne-sur-Mer, from the Grand Site des Deux-Caps to the seaside resorts further south, the coast offers an astonishing diversity of landscapes and atmospheres. You can go for a walk for a few hours, take the road as you wish, discover a market, linger on a terrace or simply look for the best place to admire the sea.
You take the car without necessarily knowing where you are going to stop, you follow a small road, you see the sea at the bend of a path and, finally, you stay a little longer than planned.
