Here, the charm of the good old days meets modernity: This apartment building, lovingly constructed in the 1930s in the style of classic seaside resort architecture, captivates not only with its classic architecture and meticulously maintained green spaces, but also with its prime location—the perfect starting point for a Baltic Sea vacation in Kühlungsborn. Behind the building lies the Kühlungsborn City Forest, the green heart of the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn; in front of the building is the spacious Lindenpark. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the “Zentrum Ost” and the fine-sand beach.
The Residenz Unter den Linden looks back on a long history. The building was originally constructed as a guesthouse, then served as a recreation center for the Free German Trade Union Federation (FDGB) in the GDR, and was subsequently operated as a hotel in the 1990s. Since 2002, it has undergone extensive renovation, and the hotel rooms have been converted into vacation apartments.
The floors are accessible by elevator. There is a large bicycle storage room in the building. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee. Please understand that smoking is permitted only outdoors in this non-smoking building. As an additional service, free Wi-Fi is available; however, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, no liability is assumed for any disruptions.

On the 2nd floor, a cozy vacation home awaits you, offering the ideal setting for relaxing days by the Baltic Sea with its warm atmosphere and thoughtfully designed, well-maintained furnishings. Thanks to the elevator, you can reach the apartment easily and comfortably.
The bright living area, with its cozy sitting area and sleeper sofa, invites you to relax and unwind. An inviting dining area and the open-concept kitchen complete the space, creating a pleasant gathering spot for shared meals and social evenings.
The modern smart TV with streaming capabilities provides a variety of entertainment options. A radio with a CD player is also available for musical entertainment.
The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. A makeup mirror, hair dryer, and bathroom stool round out the comfortable amenities.
For restful nights, the separate bedroom features a comfortable double bed. The spacious closet provides ample storage space and ensures that even your vacation luggage can be conveniently stored.
