About this house rental
Four en-suite bedrooms and no hierarchy between them. The same bed in each, in 180 × 200, the same level of finishing, and a shower room for each room. There is no master bedroom and no small bedroom at the back. Whoever arrives last has exactly what the first ones got.
The house: 215 m² on two levels, completely renovated in 2024. On the first floor, a double living room with fireplace in working order, extended by a real cook's kitchen, fully equipped — enough to accommodate eight people. One of the four bedrooms is on the first floor with its en-suite bathroom: the house also works for those who prefer to avoid the stairs. The first floor is accessed by a suspended oak staircase that leads to three other bedrooms, an office and a separate laundry room. A baby cot can be installed in the office.
The courtyard, and its light: Old stone, planted flower beds, fountain, and swimming pool with these stone walls where it will be good to have a drink! The walls are high enough that you can't see the street, and you can't hear it either. Facing east and south: the sun is on the water from early morning to mid-afternoon. Table in the shade for eight, deckchairs, garden furniture, plancha.
Comfort: Reversible air conditioning by heat pump, room by room, remotely controllable. Fibre optics, automatic watering and two private parking spaces in front of the door with the possibility of recharging your electric car.
Pets are welcome, the courtyard is enclosed. The bakery is a minute from the door and the terraces, restaurants, caterers and shops are 200 metres away, on Wednesdays one of the most beautiful markets in Provence occupies the entire length of the village. A little further on, on the outskirts of the village, the monastery where Van Gogh spent a year painting olive trees, wheat and The Starry Night — the cloister and its room can be visited, right next to the Roman remains of Glanum. Les Baux and the Carrières des Lumières are a 10-minute drive away, Arles and Avignon are thirty, the Camargue and the sea are an hour away.
We will be there to give you the keys, tell you which tables are really worth a reservation, and remain reachable at any time!
