Summary:

Champagne Chalet is a top-floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo in the Champagne Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing Resort, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the gondola. It sleeps 6 and has a fireplace, air conditioning and a balcony with mountain views. Guests can use the resort's shared amenities: 4 heated pools, 10 hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness center, and tennis and pickleball courts. In winter the free resort shuttle runs to the ski base.



The Space:

Third-floor condo, reached by stairs or elevator. Living room with a fireplace and sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a balcony with mountain views.

Bedrooms (sleeps 6):

– Primary bedroom: King bed with private bathroom

– Second bedroom: Two twin beds

– Living room: Sofa bed

Also: second full bathroom, air conditioning, washer and dryer, a ski locker in the hall, and toys, books and dinnerware for kids.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole condo to yourselves. Before you arrive, we'll send instructions for picking up your fobs at the Trappeur's front entryway. Your fobs open the building, the heated underground garage and the resort's shared amenities: indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, and BBQ areas. Park in any non-reserved spot in the Champagne Lodge heated underground garage with your parking pass on the dashboard.



The Neighborhood:

Trappeur's Crossing is a full-service resort on the mountain side of Steamboat, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the gondola and Steamboat Resort's base area, with its restaurants, shops and events. In summer the resort is close to hiking and mountain biking trails, and downtown Steamboat's restaurants, shops and the Yampa River are about 10 minutes away by car or shuttle. During peak season the resort hosts a weekly wine-and-cheese party and après-ski hot cocoa, and the poolside patio has BBQ grills and a fire pit.



Getting Around:

The free resort shuttle runs a loop to the ski base all winter and can be called for rides downtown and to the grocery store. Book pick-ups in the "RG Shuttle" app. The gondola is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. If you're driving, park in any non-reserved spot in the Champagne Lodge garage and display your parking pass on the dashboard. Accessible parking is available in the resort garage.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

There's a 3-night minimum stay, except during mud season.



Trappeur's Crossing is a resort with full-time residents, so please respect quiet hours (9 PM to 9 AM).



Please leave all fobs on the kitchen table when you check out; lost fobs are $25 each to replace.
