About this house rental
Open kitchen, living room and dining room come together in the same large room overlooking the garden. The bay windows allow you to enjoy your meals inside while enjoying the air of the garden.
In the living room, two sofas with chaise lounges are arranged around a stove — perfect for comic book afternoons or board games in peace.
The house is a 2-minute walk from the Spar for daily shopping. The entire peninsula can be discovered on foot or by bike. Gâvres is distinguished by its three maritime facades: the large sandy beach on the ocean side, the protected Petite Mer where you can fish on foot at low tide, and the view of the island of Groix from the cove of Goërem. The peninsula is part of the largest dune massif in Brittany, the Gâvres–Quiberon site, labelled "Grand Site de France".
It is also one of the most popular wing foiling and kite foiling spots in Southern Brittany. To see: the port of Ban-Gâvres and its picturesque streets, the Saint-Gildas fountain (17th century) and the Goërem tumulus. To sit down: the Comptoir Gavrais (bookshop-café), the Men Gwen creperie, the Brise-Lames, the Bons Vivants, the Taverne, or Maison Glaz.
