About this house rental
Casa Canonica is a historic, detached home dating back to the 1700s, nestled among the vineyards of the Roero region in Piedmont.
Carefully renovated in 2025, it preserves the charm of historic homes while combining it with modern comforts.
Casa Canonica offers cozy, bright rooms, outdoor spaces to enjoy, and all the amenities needed for a vacation as a couple, with friends, or with family. You’ll find peace, freedom, and a view that makes every morning unique.
It was born from the desire to create a true Piedmontese home.
The space
Casa Canonica can accommodate up to 8 people.
The house consists of:
- on the first floor: a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a bathroom with a shower
- on the first floor: 3 double bedrooms, two of which are connected, and a half-bath. All rooms have access to a spacious terrace overlooking the vineyards and the Alps.
The house also features a private, fenced-in garden with a porch and a historic wine cellar where you can enjoy excellent aperitifs.

The house is easily accessible by car and is 20 km from Alba and Asti, 45 km from Turin, and 2 hours from Milan.
At Casa Canonica, you’ll find a list of Martina’s favorite spots: shops, restaurants, bars, and places close to her heart.
It is a country house that began as a “priest’s house,” built next to a small church from which the entire hill takes its name. It overlooks a small square, offering a beautiful view.
Every morning, you’ll wake up to the chime of the bell from the adjacent bell tower, framed by a breathtaking panorama.
