First floor: spacious living and dining area with a wood-burning stove and radiant floor heating, cozy sofa arrangement, TV/satellite (flat-screen), radio/CD player, internet (Wi-Fi), board games and books for cozy evenings, fully equipped high-quality built-in kitchen with a 4-burner stove (Ceran), oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and various small appliances; first bathroom with shower/toilet, sink area, sauna, utility room with washing machine, clothes rack, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and a high chair
Upper floor: Two bedrooms, each with a double bed (separate mattresses, each 90 x 200 cm), one with a crib, plus a sofa bed in each bedroom suitable for children up to 12 years old (80 x 200) and a wardrobe; the bedrooms have insect screens; second bathroom with bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, hair dryer
Outdoor area: Patio with comfortable patio furniture (table with 4 patio chairs and 2 lounge chairs), barbecue facilities available (grill provided), 2 parking spaces directly at the property, covered, lockable bicycle storage (garden shed) available; from Easter through September, a beach chair is available for your use on the terrace

The cozy vacation home “Alter Leuchtturmwärter” is located in a charming thatched-roof village in the Baltic Sea resort of Glowe, in an ideal beachfront location. The unspoiled Baltic Sea beach, the marina, and the beautiful, kilometer-long white sandy beach are just a few minutes’ walk from your vacation home. The property covers approximately 500 square meters and is completely fenced (0.80 m high). Our vacation home “Alter Leuchtturmwärter,” with a living area of approximately 90 square meters, offers everything a vacationer could wish for. The well-equipped home and garden invite you to relax.
The newly built playground in the spa park offers plenty of fun and adventure for the little ones. After a trip to one of the many attractions on the island of Rügen or a day at the beach, you can wind down the evening in comfort.

Shopping options and several restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity. Excellent cycling and hiking opportunities to explore the beautiful island of Rügen round out the experience. One dog is welcome here; additional dogs are permitted only upon request. (Fee: 10 euros per dog per night).
Our vacation home offers you something even more special. The occupancy capacity can be expanded by renting the neighboring property, “Seepferdchen,” at the same time, since both properties belong to us. This means that families—whether relatives or friends—can now spend their vacation together in the immediate vicinity in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Glowe. In total, both houses can accommodate 8 adults and 4 children up to 12 years old. Additional capacity available upon request.
We strive to equip both properties to a high and comparable standard.
Starting in late 2026, a charging station for your electric car will be available for both properties. Convenient billing via the payment system—details can be found on the charging station itself. The charging station is located at the entrance to the “Alter Leuchtturmwärter” vacation home.
The lawns on the properties of the “Seepferdchen” and “Alter Leuchtturmwärter” vacation homes are mowed using a high-quality robotic lawn mower from the Swedish company Husqvarna.
The robot operates fully automatically, is GPS-controlled, secured against theft, and alternates between the pre-programmed areas on both properties three times a week between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. That’s why there’s a small opening in the fence to the neighboring property! The robotic mower operates autonomously and, thanks to a sensor, avoids obstacles. We expect our guests to allow this high-quality device to do its job without restriction—neither stopping it, lifting it, nor otherwise interfering with it—in the interest of proper lawn care and your own well-being. The robot’s operation is monitored via an app, and any irregularities are documented. Violations can thus be unequivocally identified and may result in claims for damages or the withholding of the security deposit.
