Cozy and Romantic Getaway in a Charming Lodge near the Pachaug State Forest, Connecticut

The room is located on the second floor with views overlooking the gardens which boast beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The rental accommodates two guests with a gorgeous four-poster queen-size bed. There are small steps allowing guests to reach the high bed in comfort. There is also a private bathroom with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Linens and towels are kindly provided.



The rental boasts an elegant decor and features antique furnishings, such as the historic spinning wheel and the original wooden flooring. During the summer, the air conditioning will keep guests nice and cool while during winter, the wood-burning fireplace is the perfect place to snuggle up to while reading a book in the evenings. A delicious farm-to-table breakfast is served each morning.



Guests will have access to the rest of the lodge's facilities with a stay here, including the beautiful lounge, where guests can watch TV, play cards, or simply snuggle up with one of the cats. There is plenty to do and see in this part of Connecticut, and the beautiful Pachaug State Forest is just a 30-minute drive away.



There is on-site parking. Guests can also browse the farm shop with fresh and local products. The accommodation features crisp cotton sheets and towels and shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. Outside, guests can roam through the picturesque gardens and relax in the hammock.
