Take a break from everyday life at Arberfunkeln! Arberfunkeln is a small, practically furnished, and lovingly and artistically designed apartment located at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Bodenmais. Located on the quiet Berggasse in the Rißbachtal building, our small two-room retreat welcomes guests who enjoy exploring the “Woid” and all it has to offer. Not far uphill from the vacation rental is the local bus stop, and this is where various hiking and ski touring routes begin, leading into the forests surrounding the Arber. If you head downhill, you’ll quickly reach the town center, the train station, and various shopping options. When you return from your excursions, a cozy “home away from home” awaits you, equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful time. In the summer, you can enjoy the sunset from the balcony, and in the winter, from the couch, letting the day wind down comfortably. In the small, functionally furnished kitchen—equipped with two stovetops, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a kettle—you can prepare more than just breakfast. You’ll have access to a small bathroom with a window, shower, toilet, and sink. You can retreat to the cozy bedroom, which opens onto the balcony. You can park for free in the parking lot; walk up two flights of stairs outside the building and then take one more flight of stairs inside to reach the attic. In winter, you’ll need good winter tires if you’re traveling by car, as Berggasse is very steep. Well-behaved dogs weighing up to 20 kg are welcome. The following conditions apply to bookings made on or after April 25, 2025. A deposit of 50% of the total cost is due upon booking; the balance must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival. Payment is only accepted via bank transfer. Pets are allowed for a fee. A baby crib can be provided free of charge upon request. Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Check-out is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
