Top-floor designer penthouse in the heart of Hillcrest, San Diego, with a private balcony overlooking Balboa Park and the city. A 10-minute walk to Balboa Park, a short drive to the San Diego Zoo, downtown, Little Italy and the beaches, and a 1-minute walk to Whole Foods and Better Buzz Coffee.
THE SPACE
The 1-bedroom apartment sleeps 4: a queen bed in a quiet, light-filled bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room. Your hosts are local designers and furnished it piece by piece: a deep mustard corduroy sofa, layered vintage rugs, framed art and hand-carved onyx objects from our studio, SAÉA, each carved from natural stone so no two are alike.

- Fully equipped kitchen for longer stays: stove, oven, microwave, Nespresso with complimentary pods, tea

Hillcrest is one of San Diego's most walkable neighborhoods, known for its cafes, brunch patios, restaurants and nightlife. Right outside: Better Buzz Coffee, Whole Foods, Bank of America and dining like Ramen Roma. Within 10-15 minutes on foot: Balboa Park and its museums, the Marston House, the Sunday Hillcrest Farmers Market and galleries like Studio Door. The San Diego Zoo, downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy and the airport are a short drive away.
