The Space:
The home is well situated, only a short drive from the picturesque town of Hoodsport on the Hood Canal as well as Olympic National Park with miles of hiking possibilities. The home is a short walk from division 1 lake cushman park which has picnic areas, sand volleyball court, a play structure, swings and a large dock and swim area. There is a community boat launch a short drive down the road which is available for those with boating plans.
Down by the lake you’ll find a new bench and picnic table for private lakeside dining and savoring the views. Right next to this is a new kayak rack holding 2 adult and 2 kid kayaks, as well as a stand up paddle board. Both are just a few steps away from the lake which makes getting in the water easy. Life jackets are available to borrow and located in the king bedroom closet, right next to a new corn hole set that’s also available for you to set up and play.
Indulge in the convenience of modern amenities, including high speed internet access, smart TV with streaming options, gas BBQ and fire table for outdoor gatherings. Inside, you'll find a wood stove for cozy evenings, a fully stocked kitchen with essential appliances, and entertainment options such as board games, puzzles and vintage Nintendo.

This is a beautiful, well appointed property in a spectacular location with private access to the lake and amazing activities along Hood Canal and in the Olympic National Forest. Perfect for family fun and experiencing the beautify of the Pacific Northwest or just relaxing, hanging out and breathing in the beauty around you! Enjoy!!

We had a fantastic stay at this lake house! The home was spotless with fresh linens, clean bathrooms, extra towels, and cozy blankets throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor BBQ made meals easy.
The retro mid-century vibe was super charming, and we loved the easy access to the lake, great views, and plenty of outdoor seating (plus kayaks!). The TV was simple to use, and communication with the host was excellent.
Everything was so well thought out—definitely 5/5 stars. We’d love to stay again!

This house was the best for our family. Well stock, cozy, around perfect quick hikes and water. We really loved our stay. Having kayaks on the water was awesome. It’s such a beautiful area, even though it’s a big drive to the northern side where the most popular hikes are.

We loved are stay here. This rental was cozy, charming and had many little well thought out touches. In the morning I would enjoy coffee with a lakeside view. At night we would barbecue on the covered patio. The covered patio was very spacious and fit our group well. We had good weather but I could see you being able to use the covered patio year round (firetable and heaters made it extra cozy).
We also went to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon for oysters and lunch, which was about a 30 minute drive. Highly recommend checking them out!
Love they kept some of the design features of this cabin's era but added some modern touches. Would go back!
