Relax with the whole family in this historic home, a semi-detached house in the village of Vezzano Ligure, equipped with a garage for small cars (no Jeeps or SUVs—the entrance is 2 meters wide), featuring two double bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, a double-height living room, a sitting area with a sleeper sofa, two terraces—one of which is furnished for dining—a kitchen-dining area, and two bathrooms (one with a shower and tub, and one with only a toilet). Just a short walk from the house is the municipal parking lot with over 50 free spaces.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of this small village, which offers every convenience—including a bar, pizzeria, grocery store, tobacco shop, and post office—and take advantage of the refreshing climate typical of this hillside town, far from the urban hustle and bustle yet just a few kilometers from the city. Casa Ilvana is, in fact, centrally located in the La Spezia area, between Sarzana—with the beaches of Marinella—and La Spezia—with Lerici, San Terenzo, and the Cinque Terre.
Vezzano Ligure is about 11 km from Sarzana and 8 km from La Spezia: it’s a “Middle Ground” between the various wonderful destinations in Liguria and even Tuscany—in fact, Forte dei Marmi is only 40 km away.
However, I recommend visiting, first and foremost, the charming village itself, which is a delight to explore and rich in points of interest such as the Pentagonal Tower, the village of Vezzano Alto, the churches in both Vezzano Basso and Vezzano Alto, and the Arch of San Giorgio.
In addition, starting from the village of Vezzano Basso, you can take a scenic walk through Vezzano Alto and continue toward San Venerio and Carozzo, enjoying a splendid view of the Gulf of the Poets.
