It felt like a welcoming home,

Very spacious, we had everything we needed, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, nice toiletries, plenty of cutlery and plates, cups etc. nice coffee machine. Nice big dining table and large bedrooms with plenty of coat hangers.

The TV wasn’t connected up but the owner explained that he was having it repaired after we left.

Location of the property was perfect. The gardens were maintained and beautiful. It was lovely to sit outside enjoying the surrounds and birdlife. The house itself was dated but adequate and spacious, plenty of room to relax in, bedrooms were quite roomy.

Our day of arrival was a hot day and very mild night. On these days and nights the house would benefit from ceiling fans to circulate the air, the bedrooms were quite stuffy even with all the doors and windows open which made for an uncomfortable night. Even with the change to wet weather the rooms still had no great airflow. One of the toilets was slow to flush, filled up then slowly drained. The roof also leaked with the overnight rain in the lounge room, kitchen and sunroom. Just some general maintenance us all that is required to make this a wonderful place to stay. On arrival we had to deal with 3 European Wasps inside the house which was challenging considering there wasn't any insect spray provided.
