We were among the first guests to experience ORIS Cruises, and overall, it was a very memorable and peaceful journey. The cruise is brand new and has a distinctive signature design, especially the beautiful arched architecture, which gives the boat a very elegant and unique character. One thing worth clarifying is the location and route. The cruise departs from OaTien International Port, around 50 km from central Ha Long. ORIS currently operates a very different route in this area, away from the busy and crowded parts of Ha Long Bay. The surroundings were incredibly quiet and peaceful, which made the trip perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural scenery.
The journey from Hanoi was also part of the experience. We travelled by limousine along the beautiful coastal road around Ha Logg, and the two-way limousine transfer was comfortable and offered some lovely views along the way.
lAs one of the first groups of guests, we could see that a few small details were still being completed. Overall, ORIS Cruises feels different from the typical Ha Long Bay experience. If you prefer somewhere quiet, less crowded and more focused on relaxation, this is definitely an interesting new option to consider.
In particular, the balcony area could be improved by adding a cover or decorative solution around the outdoor air-conditioning units, which would make the overall appearance more refined and better match the beautiful design of the cruise.

We had an amazing experience with Oris Cruises. The boat is new and follows its own unique itinerary, taking us away from the crowded tourist routes to a much quieter and more peaceful part of the bay. It was especially exciting to experience one of the first overnight cruise journeys on this secluded route. The scenery was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and it felt much more private than the usual Halong Bay cruises. A special thank you to Tom, the Cruise Manager, who was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making sure every guest was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a new, peaceful, and different overnight cruise experience in Halong Bay!
