Summary:

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to six guests: a king room with an en suite, a twin room with two single beds, and a sofa bed for two in the living room. The apartment comes with a free allocated space in the building's underground car park, and it's step-free with a lift and wide doorways. Ocean Village marina is about 3 minutes on foot and the Ocean Cruise Terminal about 11, so it suits families, friends and cruise passengers alike.



The Space:

Sleeping

UK bed sizes: a king is similar to a US queen, and a single to a US twin.

Bedroom 1: king-size bed, with an en suite.

Bedroom 2: two single beds.

Living room: sofa bed for two.

Beds are made up with fresh linen for arrival, and the bedrooms have blackout blinds.



Bathrooms

Two bathrooms: the king room's en suite and a second bathroom, with a bathtub and a walk-in shower between them. Towels for each guest, a hair dryer and starter toiletries are provided.



Kitchen and dining

Oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, with cookware, plates, cutlery and wine glasses. A dining table seats the group.



Living room

A sofa, a TV and the dining area, in a quiet, well-kept apartment.



Everyday practicals

Fast Wi-Fi and a desk, an iron, portable fans, electric radiators you can set room by room, washing machines and tumble dryers in the building, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. The apartment is on the first floor with a lift; the doorways are wide, and every room is on one level.



Getting in

The keys and building fob are collected from a staffed KeyNest point in a High Street newsagent, about 13 minutes' walk away and open from 9:30 am. Your code and directions arrive before your stay.



Travelling with children

Children and babies are welcome. The twin room suits children well, and the lift makes a pushchair easy. There is no cot or high chair, so please bring a travel cot if you need one.



Bringing your dog

Up to two dogs are welcome, and a pet fee applies.



Good to know

St Mary's Stadium is about 16 minutes away, so local streets are busy on match days, but your parking space is reserved for you.



Guest Access:

Guests have the whole apartment. Check in from 4 pm to 9 pm after collecting the keys, and check out by 10 am. Your free space is in the underground car park, entered by fob from Albert Road; it has a 2-metre height limit. A second car can use pay parking on the street.



The Neighborhood:

The building is beside Ocean Village, Southampton's marina district. Walking times: marina, restaurants and cafés 3 minutes, Ocean Cruise Terminal 11, Town Quay and the Isle of Wight ferries 12, the Bargate and St Mary's Stadium 16, WestQuay 19, City Cruise Terminal 24 and the Mayflower Theatre 28. A Tesco Express is close by. With parking included, Winchester, Portsmouth and the New Forest are easy family days out by car.



Getting Around:

Buses to the city centre stop nearby. Southampton Central station is about 30 minutes on foot or a short taxi ride, with direct trains to London Waterloo, and the M27 and M3 are within easy reach.

ID check and deposit: after booking, the lead guest completes a short ID check and deposit step with our partner SafeGuest. You choose either a Damage Deposit of £350 (your card is saved and nothing is taken up front; it can only be charged for a claim SafeGuest approves after check-out) or SafeGuest's No Deposit fee of £40 (a one-off fee paid to SafeGuest). If you can't use the photo ID check, message us and we'll arrange a short video call instead. Please don't send ID documents by email. Interaction with Guests:

Our local Blue Puffin Stays team looks after C101 and replies to Vrbo messages every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with help on arrival until 9 pm. Directions to your parking space and the key collection point come before your stay, with an emergency number for anything urgent.
