Situated in the tranquil hamlet of Stoke Abbot, this light and inviting getaway is perfect for beach lovers, sightseers and nature spotters discovering the beautiful coastline and countryside of West Dorset. The nearby market town of Beaminster (2 miles) offers a choice of great pubs and restaurants, with attractions including Parnham Park, Manor Park and Beaminster Museum. This idyllic region has a wide variety of historic landmarks and attractions including Pilsdon Pen, Forde Abbey and Gardens, Coney’s Castle, and Mapperton House, Gardens and Wildlands, all within 8 miles. Heading towards the coast, the popular town of Bridport (6 miles) is known for its independent boutique shops and eateries, before you reach the stunning beach at West Bay (8 miles). Travelling west along the coast, Lyme Regis (14.5 miles) is known for its rich fossil-finding heritage.
A couple of steps lead up and into this beautiful hideaway, situated in a charming spot in a tranquil Dorset village. Inside, a welcoming hallway leads you through to the bright, spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, providing a great spot for everyone to settle back and socialise. The elegant galley-style kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of storage and workspace, perfect for preparing a family feast which you can share around the sociable dining table. Over to one side, the enchanting, airy lounge is a perfect spot to relax in, with a Smart TV, plush seating and a contemporary wood burner.
