Not as advertised – very disappointing experience

The Location was really good. I would stay again in that part of Vaxjo.

Very disappointing and misleading experience I had a very disappointing experience with this property and, unfortunately, I felt seriously misled by the owner. After making the reservation, the owner sent me several photos of the accommodation. She later apologized and said that she had sent the wrong photos by mistake. She then sent me the “correct” photos and asked me to confirm that I agreed with the accommodation shown in them. I confirmed, because these photos matched the property shown on Booking.com. However, a few hours after my payment had been processed, she contacted me again and said that the photos she had sent were also sent by mistake and that I would actually be staying in the accommodation shown in the original photos. I had never confirmed or agreed to that accommodation. When I tried to understand what had happened and why the accommodation had suddenly changed, the owner became aggressive and started accusing me of deleting messages from our conversation. This was completely untrue. The accommodation I was ultimately told I would have to stay in was completely unacceptable. It had very poor ventilation, a ceiling of approximately 1.75 metres, and did not resemble a proper studio at all. It looked much more like a storage room than a place suitable for guests to stay. The whole situation made me feel that I had been deliberately shown better photos in order to secure the booking and payment, only to be told afterwards that I would actually be staying somewhere completely different. For the amount of money paid, there are many much better and more trustworthy accommodation options in Växjö. I would strongly advise other guests to be extremely careful before booking this property.

Good price good spot just bad timing I think if it were in winter I would have had a better time.

Good spot, affordable and it was like my own little apartment

MANY bugs too many almost (could have been the timing it was September) The upstairs people were loud at times but other than that it was a good place, would stay again maybe in winter.
