Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch

I really liked the design of the property and the room. The common space was well equipped, with plenty of activities for a cozy evening - pool, mini golf, chess, board games and much more. I also loved the coffee machine and the water cooler - thoughtful and convenient touches. The location is excellent and we enjoyed the beautiful views!

So much potential, but the attention to detail is missing. The rooms are lovely and have so much potential for a quaint, cozy and luxurious stay! Unfortunately a few practical details made the experience less comfortable than it could have been. 1. No hooks or hangers. Nowhere to hang coats or jackets, and no hangers in the closet either. We ended up piling everything on the chair, which made the room feel cluttered. 2. Nowhere to put luggage. No luggage rack or bench, so our suitcase stayed on the floor next to the fridge. The closet was too close to the bed to use comfortably, and there were no shelves or hangers for unpacking. 3. The TV remote didn’t work. And there seemed to be a cable issue hard to solve without the remote, but the contact link provided at check-in opened an empty text conversation with no number. 4. The shower gel was empty. Not a huge deal, but frustrating when there’s no easy way to contact the property. 5. Cleanliness could be better. There were dead flies in the bathroom (understandable for a cottage!), but also hair in the sink. Overall, these are mostly small and easily fixable things. The place has so much charm!

Cute building, great facilities and games. Loved the coffee and water machine.

It was honestly great - it just depends on what you're doing

Easy parking Comfortable bed and pillow When trying to use iPad to check in ran into issue. Used phone to access support personnel - was very patient as it took a while to use online forms to check in

Not having a person onsite for check in or to assist with issues we encountered There was no bath soap or dispenser in shower - only shampoo and conditioner and no where to get any ( nor any staff to get us any) Shower incessantly dripping - significant waste of water plus splashed water onto floor around toilet Minifrig had audible humming noise Chain on door missing hook so could not be used
