DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY

Nothing. We will not be staying again due to the owners and their bad attitude.

Check in was 3pm. We phoned twice to see if we could check in a little early due to our 3 children being cold and wet after playing in the snow. We received no response. After arriving at the property at 2.37 we phoned again. NO Response. However the key was in the lockbox and by that time of the day we had assumed the property would be ready for us so we went in. It had not been cleaned and beds not changed, it was very dirty. Then, lo and behold, the owner's husband had turned up to clean the place - at 2.45!!!!! This obviously was then not going to work so we had to travel home to Christchurch with 3 tired and sad children. Instead of being fair and refunding the money as we were unable to stay at the property the owner has refused to do this saying we were trespassing on her property!! This has shocked us as we have never been treated in this way and to not repay us is simply greedy and unfair and we hope that these people do not deserve to be successful in this business after treating people in this way.

could potentially be a nice place with a little work on it

the location was great and able to walk into town

When we arrived, the dishwasher was going but no dishes in it and there was water on the Kitchen floor ...as there was no number to contact owners I emailed them off Booking.com site .....todate heard nothing back ..I unplugged it at the wall as couldn't turn it off , think faulty ...also there was food crumbs on the dining table so not sure when it was cleaned last. We can see the place has potential, but they will need to up their game if they want to get more clients on a regular basis is my opinion
