About this house rental
Hungary is known for its hospitality, which is also a top priority for us.
Our vacation home is a well-maintained property that can accommodate up to 8 people. It is centrally located in the small town of Harta on the Danube, yet its large garden offers peace and relaxation. The vacation home is thus somewhat off the beaten path, yet close enough for a day trip to Budapest, and Lake Balaton is also about an hour away.
It’s just under 2 km to the Danube, with its beach and beer garden; there’s a small lake nearby, and Lake Szelid is about 10 km away—a large swimming lake with a slide, playground, stand-up paddleboarding, and pedal boat and rowboat rentals. There’s also a small promenade with restaurants, bowling, and billiards.
You can also enjoy a wine testing nearby featuring award-winning local Hungarian wines and treat yourself to some culinary delights.
For relaxation, there’s a massage salon about 800 m away that comes highly recommended.
The Puszta Program, about 20 km away, features a fantastic show with horses and amazing equestrian performances for all ages.
There’s also a horse ranch nearby where you can ride along the Danube beach or simply spend a few hours with the horses.
Whether it’s a family vacation, a fishing trip, or just a getaway with friends, everyone is in good hands here.
The vacation home offers everything you need to feel comfortable—even when the weather isn’t great, there are various board games and books available, because even if it rains (which is really rare), you can still relax on the terrace.
All major attractions and amenities are easily accessible on foot or by bike.
There is ample parking on the property; the 1,500-square-meter lot is fenced and features a large paved courtyard.

• Fully equipped kitchen to German standards (with oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, and an extra-large refrigerator with freezer compartment)
• Dining area with a huge corner bench, large table, and chairs that seats 10–12 people
• 1 living room with a large corner sofa, armchair, and ottoman
• 1 bedroom for 2 people with a double bed and a crib
• 1 bedroom for up to 5 people with a French bed (140x200) and 3 single beds
• 1 bathroom with 2 showers

• Fully fenced property (1.50 m high), also ideal for dogs.
