Despite its extremely rustic and authentic character, the house is exceptionally well-maintained and can accommodate up to 10 people. Perfect for family gatherings, groups of friends, or creative getaways.
The Location: Absolute Peace & Unspoiled Nature
The house is completely secluded, nestled on a hillside in the middle of a dense forest. Here, all you’ll hear is the rustling of the trees and the chirping of birds. Outside, a small, cozy backyard awaits you, bordering a huge, lush green meadow—ideal for balmy summer evenings, children playing, or simply relaxing with a book in hand.

Neighborhood & Location
The house is located in Hinterzarten, one of the most beautiful spots in the Upper Black Forest. Since the property is completely secluded in the forest, we recommend traveling by car. Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails start practically right outside your front door. Experience nature in its most unspoiled form!
Our home is furnished with many, partly historic details, decorations, clocks, and pictures, which are irreplaceable. Please handle the furnishings with extreme care.
Footwear:
We kindly ask you to remove your outdoor shoes in the entryway to protect our historic floorboards and floors.
Quiet Hours & Neighborhood:
There is a neighbor’s apartment on the lower floor. Please be considerate of one another. The legally mandated quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
Access:
Please use only the main entrance. The staircase on the right side of the house, which leads downstairs, is private and must not be used.
Parties:
Our home is a peaceful place. Events and parties are strictly prohibited.
Smoking & Pets: A strict no-smoking policy and a ban on pets apply throughout the entire house. Violations will be penalized. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor area (garden/yard).
Sanitation Note:
Please refrain from using the urinal in the large bathroom.
