Westwood Park Hotel

Really nice place to stay. More of an inn than a hotel, but the facilities in the room were better than most hotels I've stayed in: wifi, ensuite, big TV, kettle and plenty of tea-making stuff, complimentary bottled water and a small complimentary bottle of wine. Beautiful decor, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and really friendly staff. The room and the ensuite were spotless. The beer in the bar was good, and very cheap. A place to park my car and a short and pleasant walk into town. Very good value for money. I will definitely come again. Breakfast included cereals, juice, fresh fruit, a 'full English' and unlimited tea. There was probably yoghurt and other stuff, but I didn't ask for it. Even the other guests were really friendly. It must be something about the atmosphere in the place. Highly recommended.

Very noisy people walking past the hotel in at 2 in the morning, making a huge noise. Not the fault of the hotel, but the old windows did nothing to reduce the noise coming into the room.

Central to town , secure parking for my motorbike and a very warm welcome

Nothing

So convenient for our Offas Dyke walking and the lovey Kasia even found us a good local taxi company to take us to our starting point on Sunday as no busses were running She cooked us a plentiful breakfast too fair play with delicious local bacon and free range eggs

Although no evening meal available we were directed towards the gorgeous Royal Oak who were very dog friendly and served delicious food

A good location for the town but traffic made it noisy. Nice touches like Prosecco in room. Staff very friendly and keen to help

Rooms need updating, but new owners are planning to do this. Toiletries had already been used and not enough left. Parking a bit problematic. Stayed 2 nights but no room service after first night.
