This was a great little renovated room in a block of apartments. It sits in a nice neighborhood, on a higher street that you descend a staircase to the main shopping / restaurant streets and castle below. Parking is free on the streets in the evening with a pass from the host, plus there is an open parking lot right next door, that is reasonably priced.
You have to be able to climb some stairs to get to the rooms and the town.

Charles Brae was in a perfect location! Very clean, very comfortable and very easy to check in/out.
