We wanted to have peace and quiet and Cape Byron retreat is certainly a hideway. It's a few minutes drive uphill from Byron into the forest. It is a no through road and there was zero traffic noise. The facilities are brand new, clean as a whistle.
A lovely pool and heated spa, and particularly the Sauna with a glass wall that faces into the forest was an amazingly peaceful experience on a drizzly rainy night.
Quiet, peaceful, away from the noise.
Really they are very good, and the people very helpful. We had only a couple of minor issues, like wifi password, but a call quickly fixed that. I think that this was because it's all so lovely and new!
