If you are looking for a peaceful, private apartment for your Nepal adventure this is a great choice. This comfortable apartment allowed us more space than a hotel room, and the kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, rice cooker, fridge, gas and electric stove, and basic dishes. There was a hot shower as well. The host was very polite and helpful and provided bottled water.
It's a 15-20 min walk to historic Durbar Square, and there are lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay here and even extended it a few days after our initial booking. This would be a good place for backpackers, a couple, or those who want to experience a little of the local Nepal rather than just a hotel. We weren't sure what to expect at first, but this was a great find especially for the price.
Just a small thing - the floor was a bit dusty when we arrived, but overall it was well kept and had great amenities.
