We paid £844 for three nights and were shocked by the condition of the property. It was dirty, poorly maintained and had numerous safety, cleanliness and comfort issues. There were dirty walls throughout, especially in the bathroom, which smelled strongly of damp and had no bin. The toilet was uncomfortably close to the wall, the shower door did not fully open, and an unsuitable silicone mat was provided instead of a proper bath mat. There were serious maintenance problems. The kitchen panel repeatedly fell down, the back door did not close properly, and the bedroom window was propped open with a piece of wood, raising security and safety concerns. The bedroom socket and hairdryer did not work. All mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, so none of us slept well. One mattress had previously fallen through the bed due to inadequate support and had still not been fixed. Extra pillows were requested but not provided, so we had to use towels instead. Even after cleaning staff attended, the bin had not been emptied and the floor still looked dirty. Maintenance also left grubby marks on the bathroom doors and vanity. We wanted to leave after the first night and requested a refund for the two remaining nights, but this was refused. We ultimately had to leave early because the accommodation was so unacceptable. For £844, we expected a clean, safe and comfortable property. Instead, we experienced numerous problems that seriously affected our stay and sleep. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
