Geräumige Unterkunft mit Klimaanlage, großes beqemes Bett, Kücheneinrichtung mit Nespressomaschine, Wasserkocher, Waschmaschine und Herd. Seitenstraße mit 1 Minute Fußweg zu Metrostation Gran Via. Stadtzentrum fußläufig erkundbar.
Gut ist, dass der Müll im Zentrum Madrids täglich entsorgt wurde. Schlecht war, dass die Fenster des Schlafzimmers direkt über den Müllcontainern waren und die Entsorgung immer pünktlich um 01:30 in der Nacht mit Kranauto passierte. So wurde ich jede Nacht zu dieser Zeit wach

The unit has a very good location in the city.
The air conditioner was very good.
It was clean.
The shower very vigorous and relaxing.
The unit has balconies but we did not enjoy the view because they were just in front of four huge recycling and waste containers for the restaurants and cafes that were on that street.
I recommend to change the sofa bed, since is dirty and broken.
The kitchen’s toaster is not usable since the breaker went off and leave the apartment in the dark… nobody there to give us a solution, so no toaster and we had to realize by ourself about how to light on the breakers.
It would be nice to have a place to open the luggage.

We had an excellent 6-night stay at Welcomer Apartments Gran Vía while visiting Madrid as a group of 5, including for the Madrid Grand Prix weekend.
We arrived around 1pm, before the 3pm check-in time, and had contacted the owner in advance about dropping off our luggage. Communication through Booking.com was very good. When we arrived, I messaged the owner and, after around 5 minutes, a receptionist on the ground floor helped us gain access to the building.
The apartment was spacious enough for our group, although the sofa bed did take up quite a lot of the living room when extended. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were excellent, clean and spacious, with good shower pressure.
The location was one of the biggest positives. The building was easy to find and very centrally located, just a short walk from Gran Vía and the nearby train station. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and other amenities within easy walking distance, making it a very convenient base for exploring Madrid.
Access to both the building and apartment was straightforward using the key codes provided. The Wi-Fi was also good and had reliable speed throughout our stay.
Overall, an excellent stay and a great option for a group of 5 visiting Madrid. The central location, comfortable accommodation, good communication and easy access made it a very convenient base for our 6 nights in the city.
One thing to note regarding luggage: although we were able to leave our luggage in the reception area when we arrived early, we were advised that luggage could not be left there after checkout. Fortunately, there was a luggage storage facility on the next parallel street, which provided a convenient alternative while we explored Madrid during the day.
