Guests come for the short drive into town and stay for the wildlife: recent guests spotted bears right from the cabin, and say it is a quick drive to the Gatlinburg Strip and the grocery store. The street is wooded, on a gravel road. Our fall picks: Sugarlands Visitor Center for park trailheads, Anakeesta, the Arts & Crafts Loop, the Gatlinburg riverwalk and Ober Gatlinburg. One caveat: this is a drive-to-town cabin, not a walk-to-town one.
