Welcome to the “Iring von Redwitz” apartment at Schlossgut Franken in Redwitz an der Rodach—an extraordinary, loft-style accommodation with historic character and a unique atmosphere. Spanning approximately 100 m², this apartment offers a special living experience for up to 4 people, impressively blending history with modern comfort. Exposed sandstone walls, old arrowslits, and original architectural features give the apartment its unmistakable charm. The entryway, featuring a kitchenette (with a small dishwasher) and a dining table, leads into the spacious living and sleeping area with a double bed, sofa, armchairs, and TV. The shower integrated into the stone and the freestanding black bathtub create an exclusive spa-like atmosphere. The separate restroom is stylishly housed in the former tower. An additional bedroom is accessible via a small staircase and can be added as needed, making it ideal for families or groups. Underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and bed linens and towels are, of course, included. You can use the directly accessible courtyard for meals, just as the castle lords once did, or for a glass of wine in the evening amid the castle’s unique atmosphere. In the courtyard’s outdoor area, you can enjoy peace and relaxation—on lounge chairs or in our sun lounge when the weather is nice. A stay at Schlossgut Franken combines relaxation, nature, and warmth into an unforgettable experience. Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Check-out is available between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on-site. Private sauna (2 hours): 50 EUR, including a bathrobe and towels. 1 free basket of firewood; each additional basket: 10 EUR. Early check-in and late check-out are available subject to availability. We charge a surcharge of 40 EUR for each of these options. Early check-in: 40 EUR; late check-out: 40 EUR. Please contact us before your arrival so we can check availability. Two pets are allowed for a fee of 12 EUR per pet per night. A crib can be provided upon request for a fee of 15 EUR per night.
