Your four-legged friend (up to medium size) is also welcome here. The view from the bedroom window offers a charming sight: happily rescued chickens (no rooster) that are now enjoying life and laying delicious eggs, which are available for purchase in front of the house. Everything is within a 5–15-minute walk. Enjoy the Glückstadt harbor and the numerous restaurants. The train station is also just 10 minutes away, offering quick access to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and many other excursion options. Various supermarkets and small shops invite you to take a stroll. In addition to the Matjes Weeks, there are numerous flea markets and other events in the nearby towns and villages. There’s also a wonderful nature reserve just a ten-minute drive or train ride away. The beautiful lake and hiking trails are perfect for picnics. All in all, there are plenty of options here for enjoying your free time. I look forward to welcoming you!
