The train station is also just 10 minutes away, offering quick access to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and many other excursion options. Various supermarkets and small shops invite you to take a stroll. In addition to the Matjes Weeks, there are numerous flea markets and other events in the nearby towns and villages. There’s also a wonderful nature reserve just a ten-minute drive or train ride away. The beautiful lake and hiking trails are perfect for picnics.
