Sticky, dirty and completely bare, with no hot water on our second morning and no meaningful respons

The apartment was available at short notice after our flight was cancelled. A hairdryer and laundry supplies for the washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer were provided.

The worst problem was the lack of cleanliness: the floor, kitchen surfaces and even the inside of the cupboards felt sticky, and there was also a persistent unpleasant smell. The bedrooms were extremely bare, with completely empty white walls covered in visible marks, stains and holes, and the rooms and beds appeared much smaller than in the wide-angle listing photos. Early on our second morning, the boiler displayed error L2 and we had no hot water; although the host initially apologised and promised a solution or compensation, our complaint was then completely ignored. Interestingly, unlike with our other Booking.com reviews, there is no option to upload photos for this apartment, so we cannot show the documented condition and allow other travellers to judge it for themselves.
