The attendant is a very nice person and the room was very warm and clean.
The floor was not in great condition and the door of the bathroom cracked when open.

We didn't have breakfast here, but the location was perfect, just what we needed as a pit stop on our long drive up to Skye from Liverpool. I had made an error with my booking dates and arrived a day earlier. Despite this, our host allowed us to stay and was so kind about my mistake. I was so relieved and grateful.

Conveniently situated near Dalkeith. Decent accompaniments to tea/coffee.
Reasonably warm and fairly comfortable bed
Quiet.
Nowhere to put a towel in the bathroom and no ledge space apart from cistern.
(Carpet on side of bed soaked after someone had left window open letting rain in.)
