Super close to the action and excitement mere steps away from everything. Even though it was centrally located, it was quiet. Spacious with room to relax and unwind. Exactly as pictured in the listing. The person overseeing the transaction seemed nice and cared about the place, was helpful getting us set up with the entry code and wifi password.
Going when we did in mid summer the air conditioning struggled to get caught up as it was not turned on before we arrived. Two portable a/c units in a large place took almost 2 days to get to a comfortable temperature. There were ants in the bathroom and bedroom that we noticed (apparently common in old Rome). Also the shower and kitchen are quite small but manageable.

The location was the highlight of the stay, situated in a beautiful neighbourhood and building, within easy walking distance of many attractions. The apartment itself is spacious, well presented and furnished to a good standard, although the Kitchen and bathroom are quite compact, even for one person.
The main disappointments were the lack of amenities and some practical issues that affected my stay. The apartment was advertised as having a washing machine, which was one of my deciding factors when booking, but there wasn’t one available. The hot water also ran out, meaning I was unable to wash my hair. The kitchenette was poorly equipped, with no toaster or chopping board, so despite buying bread for breakfast, I wasn’t able to make toast. So essentially was just a bed in an apartment. The host did not provide check in instructions until I asked at 10 minutes to check in time despite them telling me they would message me and ultimately stuffed my day around, The host was also there at 10am on the dot at time of check out.
Given the quality and location of the apartment, these were frustrating oversights. Hopefully, this feedback helps the host address these issues for future guests.
