PEACEFUL & CLOSE TO THE FUN

Sea Salt Haven sits on a quiet no-thru street with a relaxed coastal feel, close to the places that make island days easy. Kai-Joe’s, Publix, Lil & John’s Sweetreat Homemade Ice Cream, Big Pups Coffee Company and nearby shops are about a two-minute ride away by car or in The Binz.

Middleton Park is also minutes away, with a playground, splash pad, tennis courts, live music and community events.

WALK, BIKE & EXPLORE

Join the sidewalk at the end of our street without crossing East Oak Island Drive. Turn left and head three streets to the scenic SE 31st Street pedestrian and bicycle walkover—our quickest walking route to the ocean, about a half-mile walk from the house.

Enjoy marsh views and watch for birds and other wildlife along the way. A floating dock and kayak launch offer more ways to enjoy the surroundings.

BEACH ACCESS

SE 40th Street beach access is nearby, with sidewalks for walking, biking or jogging. For beach trips in The Binz, follow the route provided in our guidebook and enjoy its included Oak Island resident beach parking.

SE 46th Street Cabana beach access is another nearby option, offering seasonal restrooms, rinse stations, picnic tables and an accessible ramp.

Enjoy self check-in through our smart lock. Your unique door code will be provided on check-in day.

Sea Salt Haven is elevated on pilings, so stairs are required to enter. Once inside, all bedrooms, bathrooms and main living spaces are on one level.

Guests have private use of the home, porches, yard and outdoor amenities, including the screened hot tub, outdoor shower, grill and gathering areas.

The garage is accessible for The Binz, bikes and beach equipment. It is not available for guest vehicle parking.

Only locked owner-storage areas are off-limits, including the storage room beneath the house and the owner’s bin in the primary bedroom walk-in closet.

The bright, open living, dining and kitchen areas flow together with cohesive coastal design. Gather for a leisurely breakfast, a lively card game or conversation over dinner, with comfortable bedrooms ready when you want a little time to yourself.

Outside, choose your spot: morning coffee on the screened porch, an afternoon book on the sunny deck or a quiet moment in the cushioned front porch rockers. Covered seating and dining beneath the house give everyone more room to spread out and enjoy the island air.

GETTING AROUND

Just a few streets from SE 40th Street beach access, our street connects directly to the 35-mph section of East Oak Island Drive for convenient cruising. Groceries, restaurants, shops, Middleton Park, the splash pad and live music are minutes away.

Sidewalks run in both directions at the end of our street, with no need to cross East Oak Island Drive to reach them. Take the scenic SE 31st Street walkway for an approximately 0.5-mile, 10-minute walk to the beach.

Our 2026 six-seat Bintelli lithium golf cart is a street-legal low-speed vehicle (LSV). Oak Island resident beach parking is included with The Binz, with no separate cart rental fee.

Oak Island is best reached by car. Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is approximately a 50-minute drive from Sea Salt Haven.

Once you arrive, enjoy nearby beaches, restaurants and shops using The Binz, our included six-seat street-legal golf cart, the provided bikes or your own vehicle. Sidewalks at the end of our street make walking easy, too.
