Our vacation rental is located in the adjacent building, which is part of the "Auerhof" farm. The Auerhof, home to cows, calves, rabbits, cats, and goats, is located in the Außerwald district, 3.5 km from town in the direction of Sachrang. Both Aschau im Chiemgau and the mountaineering village of Sachrang can be reached for free by bus. With a variety of walking and hiking trails—whether along the Prien River to the waterfall in Schoßrinn or up into the surrounding mountains—you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. With an e-bike, it’s easy to enjoy beautiful bike rides through the region. We have plenty of space for children around the farm, including a small soccer field. We have our own alpine pasture in the Spitzstein region. By car, you’re just a few minutes away from the Kampenwand aerial cableway, the village with its shops and restaurants, and the Orthopedic Children’s Clinic. You’re welcome to bring a dog for an additional fee. We also rent out rooms at the Auerhof farm next door; you’re welcome to book breakfast there as well.
Our spacious Birnbaum vacation apartment offers a cozy, Alpine-style home across 60 m². The combination of hardwood and tile floors creates a pleasant living atmosphere, while the sunny south-facing balcony offers magnificent views and the perfect setting for relaxing outdoors. The apartment features two separate bedrooms, furnished with charming country-style furniture. Both rooms are equipped with a double bed, and one of them also features a comfortable sleeper sofa—ideal for families or guests who want a little more space. The open-concept living area, with its cozy couch, corner bench, and dining table, invites you to gather together. The fully equipped kitchenette offers everything you’ll need for your stay: a ceramic-top stove with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, filter coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination, a toilet, and a hair dryer. There is also a separate toilet, which is especially appreciated by families or groups traveling together. Children are very welcome here—we’re happy to provide a high chair or a travel crib upon request. You may bring a dog for an additional fee. For a delightful start to your day, you can book breakfast at our neighboring farm. There, we’ll treat you to regional specialties and fresh farm-fresh products.
