Great localization, 7 min walk from Shin-Koiwa station. Direct access to Tokyo Sumida, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Nakano and Chiba and Narita airport.
A lot of markets, conbinis around and long shotengai street at the station.
Quiet neighborhood.
Room is well equipped with appliances (kitchenette with a pot, plates, cutlery and rice cooker, laundry machine, air-con, etc) and amenities (slippers, towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, etc.).
The room and the kitchenette were clean, and it’s bright despite being surrounded with walls of other buildings.
We got a different, worse room than expected. The photos actually show different rooms - it wasn’t clear.
The room was very small, had no space to eat (no table, no chairs), no space to move around (the bed takes all the room space), no place to hang the laundry inside when it rains.
The bathroom was nasty, brown from cigarette smoke and smelled like it. Leaking toilet, crooked sink that everything slides off. It needs work.
Doorways are low, for people 180 cm max, and the building stairway in Dutch steep and narrow - better to keep your suitcase as lightweight as possible :) No elevator.
