Location was excellent .. Bed was very comfortable
First shower I tried didn’t work, one toilet was leaking and both male toilets were not clean

The room was basic but fine with a fridge , kettle and coffee makings. The bathroom closest to our room had no functioning showers so we had to go to a farther bathroom. It was clean enough but the place needs a woman's touch. I understand it was recently acquired and I get that it requires work but I think until it's up to par they should charge less.
A bit shabby. The place needs a woman's touch. The whole place (especially the bathrooms) need a good scrub.

Fantastic location in the middle of Gunnedah! Despite being located on a roundabout in the middle of town, I didn't hear any traffic noise. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. Rooms were a little warm, but no issue - due to very efficient and quiet aircon in each room! Meals were great - with the most tender lamb shoulder I have ever tasted!! (due to it being pre-cooked in or with a sous vide. Not what we expected from a Country Hotel!). Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were always keen to offer help - including moving our 3 motorcycles to a safer parking space! Rooms have had a recent renno with new bathrooms. Very nice and comfortable.
No hair dryers in the rooms. A bedside light would be useful.

Very relaxed staff. Flexible with check-out time. Location is great. Food in the bar was good.
Bathroom could be cleaner. Shower glass was partially bad.
It’s under new ownership and will probably improve.
