The Airstream and surrounding area were very nice and quiet. The nearby cabin was occupied, but we rarely saw the other guests. We enjoyed using the communal pavilion each night, and firewood was conveniently available for a suggested donation. Overall, it's a beautiful, peaceful setting with great stargazing and a nice step up from camping. With better attention to maintenance and cleanliness, it could be a great experience. Also, it was a bit far from most attractions (~1 hour and change), so that is something to be aware of depending on what kind of trip you want.

Unfortunately, we arrived to no heat or hot water, with temperatures dropping below freezing that night. The owner was responsive by phone and text throughout the late afternoon/evening, spent over an hour walking me through troubleshooting the furnace. I suggested that the propane tanks might be empty, but he didn't think that was the case. Ultimately, we were directed to use a space heater, which helped somewhat, but we still had a very cold and uncomfortable night and wasted our first night dealing with this. The following morning, after discovering the stove also wasn't working, we confirmed that the propane was empty. It was refilled while we were out for the day, and we had heat the second night. The owner patially refunded our first night, but given that our stay was only two nights, the lack of resolution that first evening was disappointing and put a damper on the trip. The Airstream was stocked with essentials like cooking oil, salt, dishes, and towels. However, cleanliness could have been better. The blankets had an odor, and the dishes and refrigerator did not appear to have been properly cleaned. Lastly, the property askes you to basically clean and tidy the place before you leave and expect to get a whole list of things to do before check-out which is 10am.
