Avoid this place at all costs!!!!!

Location was good, flat clean and well decorated.

Heating: Heating could not be controlled by us and we had to rely on the owner. The owner questioned what temperature we have our heating set to at home, which was inappropriate and unhelpful. Insufficient heating: Only the living room, bedroom and bathroom had radiators. The large hallway and kitchen had no heating and were extremely cold. No hot water: There was no running hot water in the bathroom. Bathroom sink: The sink was far too small and impractical. Space behind the door appeared to be wasted and could have been used to accommodate a larger sink. Bathroom radiator: When eventually switched on, the radiator was dangerously close to the door and presented a burn risk. Again, the positioning appeared to waste the available space. Shower: The shower was not level, causing water to pool in the base. Drainage was also very poor, requiring around 10 minutes after each shower to move the remaining water towards the drain. Electrical issue: The socket in the hallway did not work. Cooker: No instructions were provided for operating the cooker. When we asked, we were simply told to Google it. Storage: There was virtually no storage space for clothing, making the accommodation impractical for a stay of any length. Lighting: There was no lamp in the living room and the overhead lighting was harsh. We had to rely on the hallway light for softer lighting, which resulted in cold air entering the living room. Front door: The door handle came away from the door and we had to re-screw it ourselves. Value for money: We paid over £200 per night, which represented a significant premium. Given the lack of basic facilities, poor heating, maintenance issues and general shortcomings, the accommodation was nowhere near reasonable value for the price paid. Overall: The accommodation did not meet reasonable expectations for a property charging over £200 per night and was uncomfortable and poorly equipped throughout our stay.

As a seasoned traveler, I enjoyed the nicely appointed flat. It was clean and well-maintained.

The apartment was quite big and spacious. I could tell it was recently renovated and the decor was very nice. The living room had a dining table and a very comfortable couch with equally comfortable pillows. The bed was also very comfortable and I appreciated the firmer pillows.

Check-in procedures could have been slightly clearer. I was standing outside looking for the lockbox but it turned out it was inside (the apartment is two floors up). I ended up calling the owner and she was very helpful. It took a little fiddling around with the lockbox before I could get the key out as well. Once you're inside the apartment, you have to use the key to lock yourself in. The bathroom sink is smaller than I'm used to but it was fine.
