What a treat this property is. Elevated, light, bright, airy, clean and spacious, with views across the water. The large windows and doors allow the sun to stream in first thing in the morning and offer picturesque sunsets in the evening.
Polished concrete floors, a spacious kitchen, butler’s pantry, wine fridge and all the necessities — plus more. There is an instant sense of calm and tranquillity when you enter, which is surprising given it is only 400 metres from the restaurant hub and overlooks a highway. The traffic noise is distant enough, though, that it doesn’t detract at all from the peacefulness of the property.
Two car parks in the secure garage were an added bonus.
The location was perfect for us visiting for AIMS — central to everything. Badminton at Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre, futsal at Haumaru Sport and Recreation Centre, Orienteering at the Racecourse, and only about 12 minutes to AIMS Central at Blake Park (netball, rip rugby, rock climbing etc.) or Mercury Baypark (basketball, hip hop etc.).
We felt very blessed to have secured this property for the week. Didn’t really want to leave! 😉
A few little gotchas — some of the electronics took a bit of figuring out at first, including the electronic entry pad and key lock (although you only need to master that once, then you can just use the key tag), plus the digital jug, toaster and oven. Nothing major, just a bit of trial and error until we worked out how everything operated — probably not a problem for the younger generations :).
