Beautiful property nice and clean, spacious x

Everything was lovely nice and clean, neighbours were friendly too!

The only reason we booked this property in particular was because it had a little park area for the kids, I understand the weather wasn’t great but the grass was overgrown which led to kids being exposed to slugs!

Disappointing Stay – Severe Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues

The property has a great layout with plenty of space, offering great potential for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, this potential is completely lost due to a severe lack of proper care and maintenance.

Our stay was very disappointing due to poor cleanliness, worn-out furnishings, and multiple maintenance issues. Condition of the House & Furniture: The furniture throughout the house was very worn out and outdated. Cleanliness & Hygiene: The property was not properly cleaned. We found body hair directly on the plates and dishes, dirty kitchenware, and trash/debris left under the furniture (including old tissues and plastic lids). The ground floor bathroom was dirty and smelled unpleasant. Lack of Amenities: For a house sleeping multiple guests, basic supplies were missing—there was only one face towel provided, and the kitchen only had a single, extremely dull knife. Damaged Equipment & Safety Hazards: The electric kettle was burnt out and unusable, the LED light in the master bedroom was disconnected, the outdoor curtain was loose, and a wooden board from the patio decking was broken, leaving a hole in the floor that presents a serious tripping hazard. Garden Maintenance: The lawn was unmowed, with mushrooms actively growing in it. Undisclosed Monitoring Device: We were never informed prior to booking about an installed Minut noise sensor. Receiving an automated noise warning message at 4:16 PM while children were simply playing was intrusive and unacceptable. Overall, the property is poorly maintained and definitely not as advertised. I cannot recommend staying here.
