It was clean and nicely designed.
A lot of space outside.
Pool looked nice, but it was too cold to use it.
Breakfast is simple but nice. Basically what you see in picture - exactly as it is every day.
Room is quite big.
It’s pretty good option.
It feels like someone made a room to look nice but never thought about actually make it comfortable for a living. It’s neither a hotel, but also not airbnb:
1. There is no door to the shower and toilet. It’s not something that is visible from photos.
2. Minor things like trash bin is only one and only in toilet, you could leave a wine opener in room, shower is pretty big, there could be something that allows you to put toiletries in the shower, not outside.
3. We asked for/about two things hairdryer and wifi. Response about hairdryer was instant “it’s in a box under the sink”. There was no box. About the wifi we got told that they called company 3 times and it’s still not working. We fixed wifi ourselves and got a hairdryer but the way we didn’t feel that staff isn’t trying to be helpful was interesting.
4. Very loud on some nights because of airplanes. And sometimes they pass by every 15 minutes. So the places has a rule to keep it silent after 22:00, but you can’t tell that to planes. I was not able to sleep without noise canceling earplugs.
5. Absolutely not related to place, but more about location. I made a mistake thinking that it’s not that far away from Lisbon. However in the morning traffic is impressive and we spent 1,5 hour just getting to Lisbon. So if you’re naive as me - have this in mind.
