We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vivenda Veri Vitor and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family holiday in Sesimbra!
The house exceeded all our expectations. Everything had been beautifully renovated, with brand-new bathrooms, a completely new kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you could need, and new beds and mattresses that made for a very comfortable stay. Having both a washing machine and a tumble dryer was also incredibly convenient for a family.
Outside, the property was just as fantastic. We loved the beautiful saltwater pool, complete with parasols, pool noodles and everything needed for relaxing pool days. The large outdoor dining table for eight was perfect for family meals, and the outdoor kitchen, charcoal barbecue and traditional charcoal oven made cooking and eating outside a real pleasure.
One of the highlights for our children — and for us adults, too — was the private tennis court. Vitor had even gone out of his way to arrange tennis rackets for both the children and the adults so that we could all play together. The court also has football goals and space to play badminton, making it a wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy time together.
Another special touch was the garden, with our very own lemon, mandarin, persimmon and orange trees. Being able to pick and enjoy the fresh fruit straight from the trees felt like bringing a little taste of the Portuguese sunshine right to our table!
But what made our stay truly exceptional was the hospitality. Vitor was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful throughout our visit, always ready with great restaurant recommendations and happy to answer any questions. His father was equally lovely and so wonderful with the children, always willing to lend a hand. When we had a small issue with the hot water, it was taken care of immediately. This really showed how much they care about their guests and how quickly and thoughtfully they respond to anything that comes up.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Vitor and his family were absolutely fantastic - they personally came to greet us on arrival, showed us around the house and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.
The personal touches really made the stay special. We were welcomed with a beautiful basket of local treats, including freshly baked pastéis de nata and bolas de berlim, along with local jams, coffee and wine. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely introduction to the local area.
We were also travelling with an infant, and the hosts went above and beyond to make things easy for us. They provided all the baby essentials we could have needed, and more, which made travelling with a little one so much more convenient.
The house itself is newly renovated, beautifully presented and in excellent condition. It is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, while still feeling very homely.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying here. The combination of a beautiful, well-equipped home and genuinely thoughtful, welcoming hosts made this a particularly memorable stay. We would happily return!

Les nombreuses petites attentions, gourmandises et délicates surprises ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable et chaleureux. On sent réellement qu’il tient à faire plaisir et à offrir une expérience de qualité.
Nous recommandons vivement cet hôte et son logement. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés : vous serez accueilli avec gentillesse, bienveillance et beaucoup de soin. Il ne faut pas hésiter à lui envoyer un message en privé si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit car il est très à l’écoute, réactif et toujours disponible.
