Great location with fantastic views of the ocean, the apartment complex has a gate going down onto the beach, however it is not a swimming beach (although there is one a short walk away)
The apartment was clean with parking just outside the door, helpful for bringing shopping and the children in
Our request for a cot was met, our son enjoyed his first trip to mauritius.
The pool was clean, even found a floaty in the cupboard for my son to have his first swim. The pool is not heated but on a hot day in Mauritius it's a nice change. don't walk in slowly, jump in.
Giant bed in the bedroom off of the lounge, truly huge.
Spacious en-suite for the other bedroom (which we used as the main bathroom), Included a washing machine for doing laundry, a large in shower, and a toilet with an integrated bidet hose. water pressure was excellent and the shower gets as hot as you like.
Full spacious kitchen with utensils provided
Wifi seemed to be a reasonable speed
A Shop and restaurants within a few minutes walk
Drip coffee machine was greatly appreciated
The shower and toilet in the hallway were dated and needed some remedial work, we didn't really use these though.
some of the utensils provided were very cheap, i broke a sharp knifes handle cutting a slice of kraft cheese.
Couldn't get a decent signal on the TV, also struggled to get a HDMI cable to my laptop to work for movies of an evening
Wifi was present but was mobile broadband based, signal could be a little spotty and some parts of the apartment weren't well served by it (mobile broadband does seem to be the norm in Mauritius though)
Mosquitos were a bit of an issue in the ensuite bathroom, we had family nearby we could borrow a bugzapper from, but others may not
