אהבנו שהכל היה נקי והעיצוב של הדירה יפה
Subject: FORMAL COMPLAINT – Demand for Full and Immediate Refund for Accommodation That Did Not Match Its Description
Dear Booking.com Customer Service,
I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding my stay at Cosy Gueliz Centre-ville Tout confort in Marrakech, booked through Booking.com.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the accommodation, the conditions we were forced to endure, and the property owner’s failure to respond to my repeated attempts to resolve this matter.
The apartment did not provide the conditions we reasonably expected based on its description. We experienced numerous serious problems throughout our stay, as detailed below.
1. No elevator in the building
We were given the impression that the building had an elevator. However, there was no elevator, and we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down several flights of stairs. This was particularly difficult when leaving the apartment, as we had to carry all our luggage downstairs without any assistance.
2. Excessive noise from a nightclub
There was a nightclub directly next to the apartment, causing significant noise during the night and making it extremely difficult to sleep and rest properly.
3. Construction noise starting at 7:00 AM
Construction work began every morning at 7:00 AM, disturbing our sleep and preventing us from enjoying a peaceful stay.
4. Defective air conditioning and water leaks
The air conditioning units were leaking water, which accumulated in the bedroom. Water was dripping from the units, creating an unacceptable situation and affecting our ability to use the accommodation comfortably.
5. Extremely poor Wi-Fi connection
The Wi-Fi was extremely weak and unreliable. WhatsApp was essentially the only service we could use, while other applications and online services did not work properly. This deprived us of a reliable internet connection during our stay.
