An aesthetically pleasing apartment completely ruined by active construction, unfinished safety features, appalling hygi

The apartment itself is aesthetically pleasing.

Active construction and cliff hazard The entire building is unfinished and under active construction, with only about three units on the 4th floor occupied out of 7 or 8 stories. Behind the property sits a steep cliff. While surrounding buildings have a full concrete wall running from the ground to the top floor to prevent rockslides, ours was the only one with this wall left unfinished, built only up to the 2nd floor, which was very concerning. Cleanliness The apartment was unhygienic upon arrival. There were hairs across the beds, sticky surfaces throughout, and inappropriate items left in cabinets (lube). Poor amenities Entirely understocked for four people staying a full week. We were given only two toilet rolls, an inadequate amount of towels, and a filthy washing sponge. Basic essentials like kitchen roll, tea towels, salt, pepper, and extra bin liners were completely missing, along with zero guidance on where external rubbish bins were located. Poor communication and hostility We agreed to hand over a remaining balance to the owner the day after check in. The host never showed up, ignored our follow up messages, and gave no instructions on how to leave the money. Only after checkout, when we were on the other side of the country, did they start harassing us about payment. When we brought up the poor state of the flat, the host deflected by asking why we had not reported it earlier. We paid a cleaning fee, so guests should not have to act as quality control or have cleaners disrupt their stay to fix basic pre check in standards. The host then completely dismissed our complaints with "no photos, no proof", unaware that we documented everything, including the cabinet items. To top it off, they falsely accused us of leaving the place dirty because we left tied rubbish bags by the front door due to zero disposal instructions. They also claimed we broke the door phone.

Bilo nam je jako lijepo u apartmanu i Sarandi

Apartman izgleda odlicno kao i na slikama i sve je čisto, novo, uredno i udobno za boravak. Sarande je isto super za posjetiti i steći nova iskustva.
