The location was awesome! Within walking distance to so many things and I loved that it was a corner flat so it got lots of light. Clean kitchen, clean bathroom facilities, and the box of assorted teas was a nice touch. I needed to reach out to the hosts about a couple things and they were always available, polite, and helpful. Each room also came with unopened toothbrushes and tiny toothpastes which was appreciated. The HVAC system worked well and controlling the temperature was easy from the console.
The explanation to get into the building could have been more clear - we were quite travel weary when we arrived and it was a little challenging to follow the instructions in the dark after such a long day. I also wish that there had been some more "lived-in" comforts to the place - a blanket in the living room would have been nice and dishtowels/paper towels in the kitchen. The couch, while beautiful and cozy in appearance, was one of those modular couches where none of the pieces were connected so relaxing on it was difficult because it kept sliding apart. The internet went out a couple times and took me about a half hour to get working when we first arrived.

If you have an event at the Baird Center, this is the place to stay. Literally one block away, and a 5 minute walk!
Nothing. The other residents I ran into were helpful and very nice.
