About this apartment rental
On the first floor of Villa Irene Langhe, the Panoramic Suite Green brings the surrounding landscape indoors. Soft greens and natural textures echo the vineyards beyond the windows, creating an intimate, garden-like retreat within the restored 1950s schoolhouse. Step out onto your own private balcony, where a small table and chairs invite you to linger over breakfast, a glass of Barolo, or simply the view—enveloped in the scents of the Langhe hills.
Like every room at Villa Irene Langhe, the suite was designed by architect Lara Spano of LATO51 Studioarchitettura, who blended the building’s original character with a curated selection of designer furniture, art, and lighting.
What makes it special
A private, self-contained suite on the first floor, ideal for 2 guests
A private balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for a glass of wine or a quiet meal among the vines
Botanical interiors with panoramic vineyard views over Monforte d’Alba and Novello
An intimate, quiet retreat—the smallest and most secluded of the villa’s three units
Access to the property’s shared panoramic loggia and exterior stone staircase
Can be booked on its own, or together with School House and Suite Red for exclusive use of the entire villa (up to 10 guests)
A house among the vines
Villa Irene Langhe sits on the outskirts of Monforte d’Alba, one of the eleven villages of the Barolo DOCG. This is the heart of Barolo country, with La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba, and the village of Barolo itself all just a short drive away, and Alba—Piedmont’s truffle capital—about 20 minutes away.
Once you book, we’ll be happy to share our personal list of favorite wineries, restaurants, and quiet spots in the Langhe.
